Today we participated in the first-ever
Congenital Heart Walk
– Phoenix Metro Area at Tempe Diablo Stadium.
The Congenital Heart Walk is an exciting joint effort between the Adult Congenital Heart Association and the Children’s Heart Foundation. It is designed to raise vital funds to help us continue our missions of addressing the needs of both the newly diagnosed and long-term survivors of congenital heart defects.
The Phoenix Metro Area raised over $33,000 today!
Since it was at Diablo Stadium (home of the Angels) they loved the fact that they could stand on the pitcher's mound.
Isie found her picture and had to pose.
We participated in the mile walk.
While Pete and Elizabeth both had to take a turn riding in the stroller,
Isie walked the entire mile!
She was very proud of herself as she crossed the finish line!!
