Ice

Well, Isie had a fantastic MBS last week!

She DID NOT aspirate at any level!!

It was quite an experience to be in the test

and be told to give her more

rather than STOP

which is what I'm use to hearing.

Since she has had things so thick for so long
we are slowly decreasing the thickeness of her drinks.
Right now she is tolerating 1/2 her current thickness
with no problems.
Next week we'll take it in 1/2 again.
Hopefully things will continue to go well
and by February she'll be off the thickener.

She knows that we are working on this
and has already constructed a list of things
she wants to eat/drink.
The top item on her list is ICE.
(Personally I find this a bit sad that my
darling daughter really really wants ice
and we haven't been able to give it to her)
She also wants bubbly-lemonaide (sprite with lemonaide)
water
popsicles
watermelon
lots of oranges
and stuff in original drink containers.
