This past weekend we weathered the cold
and rode the Polar Express!
The train begins in Williams AZ
and takes you through a magic tunnel
directly to the North Pole.
As you can tell, we all boarded the train in our PJs.
We sang carols, drank hot chocolate, ate big cookies, and listened to the story.
We also rode past Santa's village
and saw him loading his sleigh, getting ready for the big night.
Then he disappeared!
When he reappeared he was on our train.
The kids all got a bell in keeping with the Chris Van Allsburg tale.
It was a wonderful time for us all!
