Yep, you read the title correctly.
Isie tried to rob Costco this week!
Let me explain…
When you go to check out at Costco you unload the cart and then the cart goes on one side of the checkout counter and you go on the other. If your children are in the cart they stay with it. This put Isie in the right place. On this particular day there were 2 people working the Costco line, a cashier ringing the items and a bagger putting the items into the cart. And quite unusually there was a lady in front of us only buying a book (who goes to Costco to get 1 thing?!) So she didn’t have a cart and the bagger had nothing to do. Hence the bagger moved my cart closer to the cashier while the other lady was paying. This gave Isie the opportunity. The second the drawer opened her hand shot forward and she grabbed a handful of pennies while gleefully exclaiming “pennies!”
It ended well. We did not go home with an extra cent and Isie does not have a criminal record. But it makes you wonder what we have to look forward to in the future!

If you are going to train your daughter to steal from stores... at least teacher her to grab the folding money!
That is really funny. She can't have been the first child to do that at costco though. :)
