The Arizona Museum for Youth is currently displaying
the works of Christy Puetz which includes "Beads of Courage".
"Beads of Courage" is a program Isie has participated in.
Beads of Courage is a resilience-based intervention designed to support and strengthen the protective resources in children coping with serious illness. Through the program children tell their story using colorful beads as meaningful symbols of courage that commemorate milestones they have achieved along their unique treatment path.
Currently Isie's necklace is 9 and a half feet long!
That's a lot of courage!!

It is exciting that they are featured at our local museum.
It is even more exciting that
Isie's picture and a replica of her necklace are on display!
She loves showing off her picture at the museum,
she even poses underneath it!
