Heart Party

Every year the Atherton's (an absolutely WONDERFUL family)

host a winter party for heart children and their families.

There is food, crafts, SNOW and SANTA.

This was our 3rd year, and we all had a great time!

The snow is dumped in a big pile

and the kids loved climbing up and sliding down.

Pete enjoyed throwing snowballs at people (especially the older boys)

and Isie had to throw it at mommy :)

And then there was Santa's arrival.

Isie took it upon herself to lead him into the house and to the party!

As soon as she got him to the party she took off

running to tell her big brother who had arrived!

Then she followed him all around the party

and of course got a big hug when it was her turn to sit on her lap.

Pete gave Santa a big hug too!
